Thrive Month 2027 is on the Horizon
Thrive Month 2027 is coming this February. Get ready for another month of opportunities to move, connect, learn and invest in your well-being across the Outer Banks.
Looking Back: Thrive Month 2026
Our inaugural Thrive Month brought the Outer Banks community together throughout February 2026 for more than 25 activities centered on the Thrive5 pillars.
From community cleanups and group walks to educational programs and local partnerships, Thrive Month showed how small actions can build lasting habits and create a healthier, more connected community.
While the month has wrapped up, the momentum continues. The Thrive5 principles can be practiced every day, and many of the resources and ideas from Thrive Month are available to help you keep building healthy habits all year long.

What Participants Are Saying
“It was a lot of fun. I enjoyed everything I attended.”
“Love it and excited for more to come.”
“Loved the classes offered around the community. It helped get more people involved.”
“The purpose statement workshop really made me dig and think, and I’ve decided I’m going to live my life to my purpose. This work continues to carry on after Thrive Month. I am so grateful and enjoyed every bit of this.”
Engage with Thrive Month
Thrive Month brings the Outer Banks community together each February for opportunities to move, learn, connect and invest in well-being through the Thrive5. From community events and wellness activities to educational programs and local partnerships, there are many ways to get involved and discover what helps you thrive.
Whether you participate in one activity or make Thrive Month part of your whole February, the experience is designed to give you practical ideas and inspiration you can carry with you long after the month ends.
The Playbook
The Thrive Month Playbook is your guide to getting involved throughout the month. Each year, the Playbook features a new collection of activities, events and resources designed to help you explore the Thrive5 and find practical ways to support your well-being.
The 2026 Playbook included 25 activities, along with the High Five and Thrive Tracker to help participants keep track of their progress throughout the month. While the 2027 Playbook will feature a new lineup of activities and opportunities, the 2026 edition offers a look at what Thrive Month has to offer.
Explore the Thrive Month 2026 Playbook here.
The 2027 Playbook will be available closer to Thrive Month. A Playbook is required to participate in Thrive Month events and activities, so be sure to get yours when the 2027 edition becomes available for purchase on our website or at local pop-up events.
